Summer Library Programs for Adults

Can you guess this year’s theme?  Yup, DINOSAURS!  I can’t wait!

We are partway through our summer programs.  Check the schedule listed below to see what fun activities are still happening through the end of August.  Remember to log your reading minutes on READsquared or use a paper log.  Paper logs must be turned in by Sat, Aug 22, by 3pm.  If you are logging online, it will be open until 11:59pm on the 22nd.

June 2026

Monday, 6/1:  Registration begins

Sunday, 6/7:   Start logging reading minutes

Wed, 6/10:      Master Gardeners present Native Plants in the Home Garden, 5pm

Tues, 6/16:      Book Club for Adults invites Teens to join them reading Jurassic Park, 5:15pm

Wed, 6/17:       Ranger Lee, DCNR, presents Fossils & Paw Prints, 10am (outside on front lawn, weather permitting; school ages through adults are welcome!)

July 2026

Wed, 7/8:         Master Gardeners present How to Start a Fall Garden, 5pm

Wed, 7/15:       Ranger Tim Morey, DCNR, Cherry Springs program for all ages; 5pm

Sat, 7/18:         Dinosaur Cross-stitch (materials provided), 12:30-2pm

Tues, 7/21:      Book Club for Adults is celebrating America 250 by reading the historical fiction novel, A Girl Called Sampson, 5:15pm

Wed, 7/22:       Endless Mountain Music Festival Concert for all ages; 6pm (bring chairs or blankets to sit on library lawn)

Sat, 7/25:         Free Comic Day for all ages; in the library from 11am-2pm

August 2026

Sat, 8/1:         Bloomsburg Children’s Museum’s Escape Room, 10:30am-noon (registration required)

Sat, 8/8:         Wellsboro Comic Con – Design Your Own Button for all ages; in the library from 10am-12 pm

Wed, 8/12:    Master Gardeners present Good Bugs and Bad Bugs, 5pm

Tues, 8/18:    Book Club for Adults is discussing The God of the Woods, 5:15pm

Sat, 8/22:      Last day to log reading minutes
