With the help of members of the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild, we are creating a quilt to celebrate our 110th Anniversary of having a library at our present location. We are having four different sessions that you can attend and create a quilt square with fabric pens. Materials will be provided! It will be a fun activity for friends, individuals, or the whole family. You can draw your favorite book character, what you like about the library, or your favorite place in Wellsboro — whatever you want! Once all the squares are collected, several talented quilters will complete the finish product which with be unveiled during our January 2027 celebration. All sessions will be at the library:
- Day 1: Thursday, Sept 24: 10:30am-noon
- Day 2: Tuesday, Sept 29: 3:30-5pm
- Day 3: Saturday, Oct 3: 10:30am-noon
- Day 4: Sunday, Oct 11: noon-1:30pm
